At an unexpected time in my life, I came to the realization that I was not happy with my current circumstances. I took ownership of my role in the situation and decided to take action to change it. As a result, January 2 December was born, a personal initiative that symbolizes my commitment to taking full responsibility for my actions, thoughts, and movements.

 

By keeping the long-term vision in mind, I gained clarity and a deeper understanding of my journey thus far. Adopting a one-day-at-a-time approach helped me focus better, assess how I was managing my time, and identify areas where I could improve. I became my biggest critic and my loudest supporter. 

 

With the desire to manifest this changed perspective, I explored different avenues to bring it to fruition. Given my background as a high school best dressed winner, fashion naturally emerged as my initial concept. Swiftly, a new destination was entered into my GPS. Since then, the process has resembled nurturing a baby. The same seriousness I apply to life is the same applied to the brand. Paying attention to small details and delivering simple, distinctive designs has separated us from the majority. 

 

Slow and steady growth has worked for me personally and is now working for January 2 December. Never be afraid to start over because on the other side of that fear may be everything you’ve ever dreamed of. “Consistency is the bridge between you and your goals.” Go get it fam!
